Uzbekistan delivered 6,700 tons of fresh cabbage to Moscow region

Since the beginning of April 2024, officials from the Federal Service Rosselkhoznadzor have inspected over 300 vehicles and conducted quarantine phytosanitary control over more than 6,700 tons of fresh cabbage arriving in the Moscow region from Uzbekistan.

Among the popular types of imported fresh cabbage are white, red, savoy, and broccoli. Laboratory tests conducted by specialists from the All-Russian Plant Quarantine Center confirmed compliance of the imported produce with quarantine phytosanitary requirements.

Following completion of the quarantine phytosanitary control procedures, the produce was released for free sale.
